Very excellent place but you need to make changes on breakfast.
Had a lovely stay. Pool was nice and clean. Food was excellent in the morning.
Aunt Betsie and Uncle André were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned every day and every other day there were clean sheets - we had a very nice stay. Breakfast was very nice - effort made for Christmas.
The place is in a good location, shops and sea are a walking distance away. The hosts are lovely people, making you feel at home. The breakfast was a healthy meal with various options available. The rooms are spacious and my son enjoyed the free wifi.
Fantastic breakfast the zones were amazing aunt Bessie was absolutely stunning and the room was clean and peaceful. Close to everything you need.

While the place is neat and clean and the owners are helpful, they should have used the generator that was available on the premises at the time of load shedding. I find it unacceptable that a 4 star guesthouse with a generator would choose to leave their guests in the dark. The generator could only have been used for 2 or 3 hours in the evening.

We booked into the Albatros Guest House for a week over December. The room we stayed in was more than comfortable - we were welcomed with a beautiful decanter of sherry, the bed and bed linen were top notch, we had our own little fridge which came in handy and the bathroom was lovely. The balcony was lovely as was the sea view and the sound of the ocean lulling us to sleep every night. The breakfasts are out of this world, we tried something different every day and didn't eat again until late in the afternoons. Bessie and Andre are wonderful hosts and made us so very welcome. We highly recommend the Albatros Guest House.

Very clean and well maintained place. The breakfast was delicious with a stunning view of the ocean. I have to mention that their bath towels were fluffy soft! Friendly staff and hostess.
Welcomed with a big smile, immediately felt at home. Bessie and Andre are very hospitable, the view is beautiful, very safe. Would recommend them anytime.
We had a great time with Andre and Bessie and they were very accommodating. It rained all week and as a result we spent quite a lot of time at the guest house. We were very satisfied with the accommodation and the facilities. The guest house is not recommended for people who are in wheelchairs or have difficulty walking or climbing stairs.
Our trip was memorable. Bessie made it even more special. We had the best time of our lives. Location and the views are to die for. Staff is friendly and hospitable. We're definitely going back there with our friends. I couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to spend my birthday in.
We had a good time with my partner and we want to go back to visit Margate again.

Great view, breakfast was an event of note, the room, although small was quite adequate for my wife and myself. However, none of this can make up for an apparent lack of understanding of the word 'hospitality' and the concept of accommodating guests. After all, they are not staying for free! The fact that there were probably 10 other guests willing to pay for this accommodation, does not imply the proprietor can do as he pleases or treat people with disrespect. If one is looking for a relaxing holiday from which you will walk away feeling refreshed, the above accommodation may not be suitable. Regrettably, we are unable to recommend this establishment and will most certainly not make use of them again.

Albatros guest house is a very nice place to stay. I really enjoyed my stay with my partner. The place is so clean and beautiful, my partner was so impressed with the service and he was so entertained by viewing the whales early in the morning on his birthday ...This place is convenient for the guests because it very close to the sea and some beautiful restaurants.

We got a free stay in a honeymoon suit because my little sister just won second princess on Queen of High school. In the morning we enjoyed lovely sea views as you stand on the balcony, and also had a lovely breakfast. We were given binoculars to look at the whales as they swim across the ocean.
Will definitely recommend the guest house.
